Push Me, Pull You

On Tuesday, just before the big storm, the kindergarten scientists took to the playground to discover how many ways they could move objects, paying special attention to things we push and things we pull.  In addition to moving play equipment, snow, and rocks, we also thought about how we move our bodies:  Do we push or do we pull ourselves when we climb?  Why do we roll down the hill so easily, but need to use our muscles to roll on flat ground?

We read, Give it a Push, Give it a Pull afterward to begin our discussion of forces that push and pull, both visible and invisible, strong and weak.
